A Day Of Cooking Candy

Well today I had such a good time with my husband, who helped in the kitchen till he had to go to work. He crushed up the candy canes for the candy cane brittle. I have about 15 pounds of candy cane brittle now, and still have much more to make. The candy cane brittle has crushed candy cane in place of peanuts. The orders for this is going good, and plan to be selling a lot as it gets closer to Christmas.

I all so finished some brittle cups. There is a white chocolate, and a brown chocolate. These are cups, with crushes brittle mixed inside. You know, its hard to keep the girls form sneaking a few while I'm off doing something out of the kitchen.
I hope everyone has a great thanksgiving.

OMG That looks so good. My grandma and aunt use to make brittle and rock candy during the holidays, I miss that. I buy peppermint bark every year, it is sooo good and I love it. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
